Finally got the chance to read the third installment of The Forest Exiles Saga,
Werecats Resurgent. I recieved it as an ARC & boy were these books so good that after I read one I kept needing to read the next.
Pestering the author to death out enthusiasm.
After you read these, I doubt you'll blame me.
In 2023, I had the honor of reading all three books of this remarkable series and thought... let's keep talking about the books I'm enjoying because this is obviously not exiting my mind anytime soon.
What did I like about it so much?
Today's 1st review of the year is Werecats Resurgent.
Thoughts of a Dedicated Reader
Once again Mark managed to draw me into the book of an ancient Werecats clan amist the modern world & a struggle for survival.
The fight against deterioration, outside forces, and with all the secret agent vibes.
Feeling for the characters in their journey not just in their species but family dynamics.
Action. Intrigue.
Loved the conclusion.
Favorites
If there's anything I enjoyed, it was the dynamic of military, modern involvement in the evolution and mysterious circumstances of the clan of Werecats. How the modern world reacted so uniquely to their condition. Trying to cure parts that were dangerous to their health or to others. Thoughts of weaponization.
The complicated relationships within the family at the focal point of the story is something that got me invested. Each one doing what they think is necessary to survive and most relying on each other as a true family does.
Gratitude to the Author
Had me in need to get a physical copy of this beautifully written book. I've been truly blessed by the chance to read an ARC.
Review was a tad later than I planned yet certainly all I'm thinking must be spoken.
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to this author who I hope will continue to create books for years to come.
