Okay, so I'm just going to be upfront. I was really excited to be able to attend college this fall because I had wanted to attend for four years now. My initial reaction was excitement. Soon I realized all that went into just getting prepared as well as how far behind in you can get behind in one day.
Well, a week in and I am drastically behind. I am doing my work as best as I can. The assignments keep on flooding in and I am probably going to make people upset.
Online college is not exactly a thing that I prefer. I prefer learning in person and actually being taught by instructors. It's easier for me that way. All this self- teaching and stuff immediately due is insanity. But completely understand why it's like this, a bigger population of students and a pandemic going on.
Spending sixteen hours or more a day doing my classes but still don't feel like I am accomplishing much. Eat while reading my textbooks. Read when letting the dogs outside.
Prefer to read slower so that I may absorb the knowledge of the books but I bet that the aim is to read quickly and speed through the work because that is exactly what they are expecting despite reading carefully being a better way to absorb the information.
My time management could use some work I'll admit but there is so much reading that because I don't do something on the computer it doesn't look like I'm doing anything to them. My assignments are getting done slower.
That's why I haven't done my blog in a while. Because of all of my schedule being crazy.
Are you taking college courses? How many? Are they difficult? Or are you gliding? Have you ever felt behind? Let me know in the comments.
Thank you for reading my blog! And I am sure that I will be able to post more soon. My aim is to fit in into my schedule when I find a better schedule technique.
