Keeping It Organized

Putting an amount of time I want to write in a calendar doesn't work for me. I'm likely to buy pasta at dawn doing the other tasks that I'm responsible for and I'm making time for myself. Likely not to make time for my writing. Can write down an amount of words I want to get done in the day but that never seems to work out. Writing out a list of what I want written out for the day doesn't work either.
There was something that I saw that worked out a little bit better but that's only one method and doesn't seem to put in accountability. It works after you've decided to be accountable. It's called the "box method" ( I believe). Helps you keep track of word count. Keeps you focused. I've written more because of it. A lovely author by the name of Kim Chance is the reason I found out about it. Not sure where she learned it from.
For myself, it's only a matter of making the time.
Some ways to write more & stay accountable that have worked for me:
1)"box method" of keeping track of word count
2) Writing Sprints
(provides motivation)
3)Joining NaNoWriMo
(community of other writers is very motivational and supportive)
4)Make sure you have uninterrupted time ( part I struggle to find) and all materials ready.
5. Mario Bros Theme
( Don't remember where I saw this but I tried it and I busted out laughing when it worked)
Don't do all of these together. I've never attempted it but I'm sure I'd get anxiety.
Idea: I want you to try it. Take pictures or film you trying out any combination of these together and send them to me.
It could be a challenge.

Mention which methods you used.
Ps. I just said don't but then told you to try it. Lol. But really the don't was for myself mostly. Technically I said not all of them, I never said don't combine.
