On the Fly...

Lately I haven't had much time to plan anything for my blog. To even work on it. I've been angling my focus on Instagram mainly and make occasional TikToks. Time for that has been very little as well.

Last year's end was a rollercoaster of emotion. In September- December especially. I lost my best friend and writing companion, Cinnamon. A devastating blow. She was elderly but it was unexpected as she'd been fine earlier that day. She was full of energy too. It was horrible. I found myself crying a lot and not able to make any decisions so thankfully I had my Mother to help me through this tough time and also my other good pup, Jasmine.

On a more positive note, my Stepdad and Mom got married. Couldn't be more pleased. She found herself someone who treats her (and her family) right. He's kind, listens, cares if we're doing alright, and doesn't run from our crazy flaws. My Mom is so happy.

We're doing what we can. We even welcomed in another family member. My new nephew was born end of January. I'm so glad he's a January baby too. Yay!

Not particularly writing news but it's what's going on in my life.
