Reached 25k in my first time participating in NaNoWriMo ever. Not bad but next time I'll aim for higher.

I hope to find a new college next year that isn't just about speed and understands that some people actually care about the quality of what they put out. I'm a bit disappointed but they weren't for me so I'm going to try to find something that fits.

I'm excited about finishing up my first draft on my current writing project. Think I will do a few first drafts of projects then go back to edit them later. Fresh perspective will help with my editing process. Drafting and getting it down has always been more difficult because I am better at correcting myself and pointing out my mistakes. That's probably not always a good thing. I'll have other projects soon. A villain story, a Christmas story, and a few others will be worked on. Hoping to first draft at least 2 or 3 stories every other year. Then on the years not drafting I can edit and revise. I'm not entirely set on that plan and I might change it later.

I've been seeing everyone making progress and it's so amazing to see that so many people share my love of writing and storytelling. Those people that participated in NaNoWriMo were excited at reaching the word count or completion of a draft. Keep the great work writing.

Did you participate in NaNoWriMo 2020? What did you get done? What are you writing? Did you have fun?
