Hello! Welcome back to Writing with Sprinkle! Once again I'm BH Sprinkle, coming to you with a lovely conversation about the different ways we write.

Now a ton of people tend to write in ways that just aren't possible for myself. Or are rather different because we're all difficult and have different circumstances.

While it's true that we all have the same 24 hours in a day, That's not true at all. There may be 24 hours but not all the same. Everybody has different lives and different schedules. So if anybody's ever given you the advice, or simply told you that, you need to write every day...That's not true either. While it is helpful to be consistent about it and write as much as possible, it's not always realistic. There are things we have to get done even if we'd rather be writing.

Just like the fact that I've noticed many people these days tend to type out their novels. While it is true that some people are fast typers, I am not. It's also helpful for submission purposes because everything is technology these days. I will admit that I am not good with technology and find it difficult. So the best course for me is to write my novels by hand and then find time to type it up later. If you like to hand write your novels as well then I'm with you.

Does everyone type out chapters in order? Answer is you don't necessarily have to. You just gotta be willing to put together the puzzle and fill in any gaps later. I tend to write out the major plot points from my outline and then fill the gaps into it, connect the story. It doesn't mean it's wrong or anything less.

My point is that it's up to you to determine what you do. How you write. No genre or method is superior. We're all different people. Whatever is best for you is what's best.

Do you squeeze writing in whenever you can?

Do you type or handwrite your work?

Do you write out of order?

Let me know about it by leaving a comment.
